1. Part-time Fundraising and Partner Engagement Consultant (consultancy basis)

GEBAL for Sustainable Solutions is looking for a part-time consultant for its Fundraising and Communications Department. The applicant will have an MA in environmental studies, agriculture, geography, agronomy, or a related field, and at least 7 years of experience in fundraising and donor / partner engagement. GEBAL is looking for a new team member who shares the company’s passion for environment, agriculture, and sustainable solutions, has and outgoing, positive personality, excellent communication skills, and is fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken). The consultant is expected to expand the company’s partner network, strengthen GEBAL’s partner relationships, and open opportunities for funding and collaboration. The consultant will be expected to work 2-3 full days a week for GEBAL. Please note that GEBAL can only hire consultants with existing Egyptian social insurance numbers.

2. Part-time Sales Engineer (consultancy basis) 

GEBAL for Sustainable Solutions is looking for a part-time sales engineer for its Fundraising and Communications Department. The applicant will have a BSc or BA in agricultural or irrigation engineering or a related topic and at least 10 years of experience in implementing sustainable agriculture and irrigation projects in Egypt. Existing experience in the sales sectors and a large existing network of contacts and partnerships with agricultural companies in Egypt will be a plus. GEBAL is looking for a new team member who shares the company’s passion for environment, agriculture, and sustainable solutions, has and outgoing, positive personality, excellent communication skills, and is fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken). The consultant will need to have their own car and be available to travel across Egypt for in-person partner visits. The consultant will be expected to work 2-3 full days each week for GEBAL. Please note that GEBAL can only hire consultants with existing Egyptian social insurance numbers.

3. Part-time Agricultural Economist (consultancy basis) 

GEBAL for Sustainable Solutions is looking for a senior agricultural economist to provide technical input for a funded project that will run until December 2027. The applicant will have a PhD in agricultural economics and at least 15 years of experience in conducting cost benefit analyses related to agricultural operations in Egypt. Experience with solar powered irrigation systems, salt-affected lands, and the WEFE nexus approach is a plus. The appointment will be until December 2027 in a flexible working arrangement. The applicant but must be willing to travel to rural project locations (each location requires a full day of travel), attend project related workshops, directly engage with local farmers, and contribute proactively to an international and multi-disciplinary team. The expert is expected to design a methodology, carry out comprehensive economic assessments, statistical and cost-benefit analyses, and submit reports of excellent quality in English language. Please note that GEBAL can only hire consultants with existing Egyptian social insurance numbers.
